Exhibition Fien Stevens

A brushstroke no algorithm can predict.

For Fien Stevens, the process is the work. Her abstract paintings grow out of gesture, colour and emotion, layer by layer, on large canvases full of energy.

In a time when images can be generated in seconds, her paintings remind you what it means to search, to doubt and to paint. Which one would you hang on your wall? Several works are for sale.

Part of the exhibition AI / Human Craftsmanship — between code, matter and emotion, together with Ommery De Zutter and Nathalie Deschuymer. On view at OOHW from 20 November. Be there at the opening night on Friday 20 November, or drop by during the Open Saturday on 21 November (free entry).
