OOHW is born from the shared vision of Tony Decavele and Kim Dewilde, whose paths are guided by light, design, and art. Together, they create exhibitions with artists driven by vision, sustainability, and originality.
OOHW looks back on an impressive 30+ year history of collaborating with artists and creatives. From early exhibitions at fairs such as Classic (2000), Onroerende Kunst (2003), and Stijl (2005–2008–2012), to lighting installations for unique spaces like the deconsecrated churches of Leffinge and Sint-Pieters- Kapelle, now serving as art laboratories, OOHW has consistently explored the dialogue between space, light, and art.
Notable collaborations include projects with renowned artists such as Luc van Zoom, designing innovative light poles, and Pieke Bergmans, as well as lighting installations for cultural centers in Middelkerke, Roeselare and Leffinge.
OOHW has worked with multiple art galleries and has designed installations in unexpected spaces, including an abandoned warehouse on the Kaai in Kortrijk. One of the most striking projects was the large-scale installation with William Sweetlove and the Cracking Art Group in Ostend, featuring giant glowing yellow snails alongside a hundred smaller snails displayed at the Royal North Sea Yacht Club. These are just a few highlights from the many collaborations that demonstrate how OOHW continuously brings together art, light, and space in surprising and immersive projects.
