Exhibition Nathalie Deschuymer

No algorithm, no undo button. Just hands, clay and fire.

Nathalie Deschuymer builds architectural sculptures in clay, by hand, fired at 1300°C. Structure, matter and space come together in unique pieces that carry the traces of how they were made.

Right next to AI-generated worlds, her sculptures ask the opposite question: what can only a human hand create?

Part of the exhibition AI / Human Craftsmanship — between code, matter and emotion, together with Ommery De Zutter and Fien Stevens. On view at OOHW from 20 November. Be there at the opening night on Friday 20 November, or drop by during the Open Saturday on 21 November (free entry).
